Community Information Network for Southern Africa (CINSA) is a project
designed to support community ICT initiatives in the SADC region. CINSA
will support community ICT projects through research, networking,
training, service brokerage, facilitating technical support and project
evaluation, and creating an online information resource base.

The regional workshop was organised by
Women's Net with the support of the
Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) Dimitra Project.
It
brought together women's organisations, government
officials, and gender and development practitioners and researchers,
involved in gender and Information and Communication (ICT) projects and
initiatives.
