RESPONSE TO HIV/AIDS - GHANA

Director Daniel Walter photographed how Ghana has responded to HIV/AIDS. The resulting collection reflects the diversity and energy that is being directed towards this issue. The purpose of the exhibit was develop more awareness about HIV/AIDS, highlight the work that is being done, and as a social documentary. The exhibit was launched October 9, 2002, at Alliance Francaise. The photographs were also compiled in a book.

The story of the exhibit was featured in the October issue of Art & Understanding and in The Ghanaian Mirror. It was also covered on the GBC. Supported by Alliance Francaise, The Canadian High Commission-Accra, Bubola & Naibo Framers
